Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif reflected on the changing political landscape, noting that PTI founder Imran Khan is now imprisoned in Adiala Jail, which is under her administration. She pointed out the shift in circumstances and the control her government holds over the facility. Maryam warned that the country cannot afford further unrest, stressing that failure to make progress could lead to disillusionment among the youth. Speaking at a public event, she criticized the opposition for not acknowledging Punjab’s development, citing recent clashes among political figures as signs of internal discord. Maryam also highlighted the government’s Asaan Karobaar Programme, which provides interest-free loans ranging from Rs1 million to Rs30 million for business startups.
