Lt. Gen. (R) Muhammad Saeed has officially assumed charge as Chairman of WAPDA, bringing nearly 40 years of strategic military leadership to the role. Shortly after his appointment, he met Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif to review key water and energy projects. With a strong background in institutional reform and national security, Lt. Gen. Saeed is expected to boost WAPDA’s performance. His notable roles include Chief of General Staff, Corps Commander Karachi, President of NDU, and DG Rangers Sindh, where he led major security operations and legal reforms.
