Karachi Heat Soars, Sea Breeze Stops Residents at Risk of Heatstroke

Karachi is facing intense heat as sea breezes have stopped, causing the Pakistan Meteorological Department to issue a heatstroke warning. Temperatures are expected to soar above 40°C with hot and dry conditions throughout the day. As of 4 pm Thursday, temperatures ranged between 36°C and 37°C, slightly below the forecast of 39 to 41°C. High humidity at 61% adds to the discomfort, making the heat more challenging for residents. Citizens are advised to take necessary precautions against heat-related illnesses.
