Karachi administration has scrapped parking fees on 32 major roads to ease traffic and support commuters, as per a Karachi Municipal Corporation notification. Free parking is now allowed in key areas of South, Kemari, Central, Malir, Korangi, and East districts, including spots like MA Jinnah Road, Hub River Road, Liaquatabad, Shahrah-e-Pakistan, and Rashid Minhas Road. While 11 boundary wall lots will still charge fixed fees, the move targets congestion relief, elimination of illegal parking charges, and better public access to commercial hubs.
