A Karachi sessions court has sentenced a man to life imprisonment for sexually assaulting his teenage niece. The victim reported that her maternal uncle, Naseeb Gull, repeatedly abused her when her mother was away. After reviewing the evidence, Additional Sessions Judge Mirza Tauseef Ahmed delivered the verdict, with state prosecutor Hina Naz Shams representing the case. The court also imposed a fine of Rs100,000, with an additional one-year jail term in case of non-payment.
