Kamran Akmal criticized Babar Azam’s captaincy in the final T20I match against New Zealand

Kamran Akmal, a former Pakistani cricketer, has criticized Babar Azam’s captaincy during the final T20I match against New Zealand. According to Akmal, Babar Azam was indecisive during the match and failed to make effective decisions.

Akmal expressed his disappointment in a recent interview, stating that Babar Azam did not use his bowlers effectively and made frequent changes to the bowling lineup, which led to New Zealand scoring 164 runs in their innings.

Furthermore, Akmal claimed that Babar Azam was too defensive with his field placements and didn’t take any risks to get wickets. According to him, Babar Azam’s lack of aggression and confidence hurt the team’s chances of winning the match.

However, Akmal acknowledged that Babar Azam is an excellent batsman and has the potential to become a great captain in the future. He emphasized the importance of learning from mistakes and making improvements for future matches.
