Iran’s president invites Punjab’s Chief Minister, Maryam Nawaz, for a visit to Iran

Iran’s President Ebrahim Raisi has extended a formal invitation to Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz Sharif for an official visit to Iran. President Raisi held separate meetings with Punjab Governor and Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz to discuss various matters, including bolstering exchanges between the two regions and establishing a joint business council.

Following the meeting with the Chief Minister, discussions proceeded with delegations from both sides, with a focus on enhancing exchanges between Punjab and Iran and establishing a joint business council to facilitate economic cooperation.
