Iranian President Dr. Masoud Pezeshkian is set to visit Pakistan on July 26, marking the second visit by an Iranian president in two years. Interior Minister Mohsin Naqvi confirmed the visit during a phone call with his Iranian counterpart and expressed Pakistan’s eagerness to welcome Dr. Pezeshkian. The upcoming visit follows the April 2024 trip by late President Ebrahim Raisi, who toured Lahore and Karachi shortly before his tragic death in a helicopter crash. Iran’s Interior Minister also thanked Naqvi for his recent visit to Iran.
