Director General ISPR Lt Gen Ahmed Sharif Chaudhry has firmly rejected India’s accusations of Pakistani involvement in the April 22 Pahalgam attack, stating that no evidence has been provided to support the claims. In a press briefing, he said India has failed to produce a single piece of credible proof and instead accused New Delhi of orchestrating cross-border terrorism by supporting and funding attacks inside Pakistan. The deadly Pahalgam incident, which killed 26 people—mostly tourists—has escalated tensions between the two nations. While a group named Kashmir Resistance initially claimed responsibility, it later withdrew its statement. Pakistan continues to deny any role in the attack and has called for an impartial international investigation.
