India Will Be ‘Relegated to History’ If It Attempts Any Misadventure Against Pakistan

Khawaja Asif said that India would be “relegated to history” and its geography could be “changed” if it carried out any future action against Pakistan.

In an interview on Capital Talk, he stated that India believes its national prestige has been affected following last year’s confrontation, which he described as a decisive response from Pakistan’s armed forces.

The defence minister warned that any future misadventure would face a strong reaction, while also criticising remarks made by Indian Army Chief General Upendra Dwivedi, saying such statements were aimed at restoring lost credibility.

He further commented on regional dynamics, claiming differences exist within India between military and civil voices, and said countries like Bangladesh, Nepal, and Sri Lanka no longer share the same relationship with India as before.

Khawaja Asif also said Pakistan has gained a strong regional standing and suggested possible similarities in objectives between India and Israel, while highlighting the Indus Waters Treaty and referencing a recent ruling by the Permanent Court of Arbitration in Pakistan’s favour.
