In a recent collaborative effort between the Pakistan Navy and the Anti-Narcotics Force (ANF), a significant amount of narcotics was intercepted and seized. The operation took place in the North Arabian Sea, resulting in the confiscation of approximately 4,020 kilograms of Hashish.
The seized narcotics hold an estimated value of around US$65.148 million in the international market. This successful joint operation underscores the Pakistan Navy’s commitment to combating illicit activities at sea and along the coast, as they strive to prevent such occurrences. Notably, in a separate incident back in March, the Pakistan Navy thwarted an attempt to smuggle narcotics worth nearly Rs4 billion in the Arabian Sea.
