Former Prime Minister Imran Khan expressed concern about the law and order situation in Balochistan and Punjab, stating that “an institution is being blamed for this mess.”
After a hearing regarding a £190 million corruption case at Adiala Jail, he mentioned that the PTI would only consider national reconciliation once its grievances are addressed. He ruled out reconciliation without accountability for the “fraudulent general elections.”
Khan also commented on Pakistan’s defeat to Bangladesh in the first Test match, saying cricket is the only widely watched sport, but an “incompetent yet well-connected chairman” has harmed it. He noted that “history has been written” after Bangladesh defeated Pakistan by 10 wickets in Rawalpindi.
