Hasan Ali returns as Pakistan reveals squad for England and Ireland series

The Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) unveiled the 18-player squad for the forthcoming series against England and Ireland on Thursday.

Dubbed as the “men in Green,” the team will kick off their series with a three-match encounter against Ireland, followed by a four-match series against England.

Of note, the squad sees the return of bowler Hasan Ali, but excludes pacer Zaman Khan, who featured in the recent series against New Zealand.

The national selection committee has opted to reintroduce Haris Rauf, Hasan Ali, and Salman Ali Agha to the 18-player squad.

Following the initial T20I slated for May 22 in Leeds, the squad will be trimmed down to 15 players for the ICC Men’s T20 World Cup 2024 next month, in compliance with the ICC’s May 24 deadline.
