As Ramadan enters its last Ashra, the federal government has approved a five-day holiday for Eid, which marks the end of the holy month of fasting and is one of the most anticipated holidays for Muslims. The Cabinet Division made the recommendation for the Eid holidays, which will take place from April 21 to April 25. The Ministry of Interior will issue the official notification for the holidays. The Central Ruet-e-Hilal Committee is scheduled to meet on April 20 to sight the crescent moon of Eid ul Fitr. The meetings of the zonal committees will be held at designated locations across the country. Ramadan 2023 began on March 23, following some confusion during the moonsighting meeting.
