Former US President Donald Trump has been apprehended by authorities

Former President Donald Trump has appeared in a Miami court to face a total of 37 criminal charges. These charges stem from his alleged mishandling of classified documents at his Mar-a-Lago resort in Florida.

This unprecedented event marks the first instance in which a former US president has faced federal charges. Many anticipate that Trump will vehemently assert his innocence in relation to all the charges brought against him. Furthermore, he is also facing charges from a separate case involving hush money payments, brought forth by a grand jury in Manhattan. Trump maintains his innocence in both cases and denies any wrongdoing.

Despite the legal challenges he currently faces, Trump remains determined to stay active in politics and has expressed intentions to run for the presidency once again in 2024. He is scheduled to address the public on Tuesday night upon his return to his resort in New Jersey.
