The new EU Ambassador to Pakistan, Raimonds Karoblis, has said that the release of PTI founder Imran Khan is entirely a matter for Pakistan’s courts. Speaking to Geo News, he affirmed that Pakistan’s demand to prevent Afghan soil from being used for terrorism is valid and stressed that more information is needed to evaluate the Afghan Taliban’s commitment to the Doha Agreement. Karoblis also highlighted that Pakistan’s concerns about the banned TTP are legitimate and emphasized that constitutional amendments are an internal matter for the country.
