Cyclone Biparjoy hits Pakistani coast with force

Cyclone Biparjoy has reached the coast of Pakistan and is anticipated to make full impact within the next five hours. The initial effects of the storm have already been observed along the Saurashtra coast and certain ports in Jakhau. The cyclone’s eye, with a diameter of 50 km, is at the center of the disturbance.

Coastal regions, including Kharo Chan, Shah Bandar, Jati, and Badin, are expected to be affected by the cyclone. Light rainfall has already commenced in Karachi, Thatta, Badin, and other areas. The Pakistan Army’s security forces are present in these regions to handle any emergencies, and residents have been relocated to safer locations.
