CTD Sindh arrests three suspected TTP terrorists in Sohrab Goth, Karachi

The Sindh Counter Terrorism Department (CTD) arrested three alleged Tehreek-i-Taliban Pakistan (TTP) terrorists in Karachi’s Sohrab Goth. The suspects, identified as Farhad, Haji Rehman, and Muhammad Sagheer, revealed plans to attack police in the city. The CTD recovered three pistols and banned organization pamphlets from them, which will undergo laboratory analysis. This follows a June attack by TTP in Sohrab Goth that killed Police Constable Muhammad Yasin. Meanwhile, Punjab CTD arrested seven terrorists during 129 intelligence-based operations. August saw a rise in terrorist attacks, with 59 incidents reported compared to 38 in July.
