Court Directs Bank to Compensate Customer Rs15,000 for Defective ATM Service

A consumer court in Karachi has directed a private bank to pay Rs. 15,000 in compensation to a customer over a faulty ATM incident. The Consumer Protection Court (South) ruled that the bank failed to maintain proper ATM services after the machine retained the customer’s card without dispensing cash.
