China plans to set up textile parks in Pakistan

China’s RUYI Group plans to build advanced Textile Parks in Pakistan’s Sindh and Punjab, supported by the Special Investment Facilitation Council (SIFC). This project, under the China-Pakistan Economic Corridor (CPEC), aims to boost Pakistan’s textile exports.

RUYI and Pakistan’s Board of Investment have signed an MoU to kick off the initiative, inviting 100 Chinese companies to invest. The parks will use solar energy and automation to enhance efficiency. Exports are expected to start at $2 billion and grow to $5 billion.
