Bilawal Warns: Pakistan Can’t Afford Iran Conflict Turning Into Iraq 2.0 or World War III

Former Foreign Minister Bilawal Bhutto-Zardari has warned that Pakistan cannot afford the Iran conflict to spiral into a crisis like Iraq or trigger a wider war. Speaking at a press conference in Brussels, he voiced grave concern over rising regional tensions following Israeli airstrikes on Iran, which came after Tehran launched missiles in retaliation for attacks on its nuclear sites. Bilawal highlighted the deadly toll, citing reports of nearly 80 deaths and over 300 injuries. Emphasizing Pakistan’s commitment to regional peace, he condemned recent strikes and urged for calm on all borders. Criticizing the global trend of frequent wars, he called for an immediate ceasefire and urged the international community to act before the conflict further escalates.
