Babar Azam believes Pakistan can excel in their own unique style

Former Pakistan cricket captain, Babar Azam, expressed his conviction that the team consistently strives to deliver commendable performances regardless of the playing location. During a discussion with Pakistan Cricket Board (PCB) Management Committee chairman Zaka Ashraf, the 29-year-old delved into the upcoming Australia tour, deeming it a valuable opportunity for emerging players, particularly the newly appointed Test captain, Shan Masood.

Babar underscored the team’s cohesion and their adeptness at confronting challenges in their unique manner. He highlighted the significance of gleaning insights from seasoned players like Mohammad Hafeez, Umar Gul, and Saeed Ajmal, acknowledging their experiences as instrumental in the team’s progression.

It’s noteworthy that Babar Azam recently relinquished captaincy across all formats on November 15, resulting in Shan Masood taking on the role of Test captain and Shaheen Shah Afridi assuming the T20I captaincy, as announced by the cricket board.
