A bus accident in Iran has killed at least 28 Pakistani pilgrims and injured 23 others

At least 28 Pakistani pilgrims were killed, and 23 others injured when their bus crashed in Iran’s Yazd city, confirmed Pakistan’s envoy to Tehran. The accident occurred last night at the Dehshir-Taftan checkpoint, where the bus overturned and caught fire. The pilgrims were traveling through Iran to Iraq for the Arbaeen commemoration, a religious event marking the 40th day of mourning for Imam Husain, the grandson of Prophet Muhammad (PBUH).
