The caretaker government, now managing the country of 170 million people, introduced redesigned currency highlighting natural landscapes, cultural landmarks, and historical artwork instead of human figures. The new notes include images of Hindu and Buddhist temples, historic sites, and national symbols reflecting Bangladesh’s diverse heritage.
