Karachi Boils at 40°C as Heatwave Intensifies

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has forecasted intense heat in Karachi, with temperatures expected to hit between 39°C and 40°C on Sunday. With humidity levels at 72%, the real-feel temperature could rise to a sweltering 45°C, making conditions extremely uncomfortable. The city is set to experience hot and humid weather over the next 24 hours, with mild southwest winds at 16 km/h offering limited relief. Meanwhile, the PMD has also warned of potential windstorms, hailstorms, and heavy rainfall in northern parts of the country by Monday evening or night.
