The Islamabad High Court (IHC) is expected to delay hearing former Prime Minister Imran Khan’s appeal against his conviction in the £190 million corruption case, with proceedings unlikely to begin before 2025. According to a statement from the court’s Registrar Office, appeals are heard strictly in numerical order. Imran Khan, founder of the Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI), filed his appeal against the 14-year sentence on January 31, 2025. The case is currently at the motion stage and will progress once required documentation, including paper books, is finalized.
