Report: Pakistani Prisoners in India at Risk of Being Used Against Pakistan

The failure of a suspected false flag operation has raised significant concerns about the potential exploitation of Pakistani prisoners by Indian intelligence agencies. There are fears that these prisoners may be coerced into advancing Indian conspiracies or falsely depicted as terrorists from Pakistan.

A media report revealed that at least 56 Pakistani prisoners have been incarcerated in India since 2003. The recent incident in Indian-held Kashmir has intensified worries about their involvement in an Indian plot.

Sources cited by Dawn News suggest that Indian intelligence agencies might resort to torture to force Pakistani prisoners to speak out against Pakistan. Additionally, there are concerns that India could portray these prisoners as terrorists and execute them in staged encounters.
