To ease Karachi’s growing traffic congestion, the Karachi Traffic Police have introduced a new traffic plan ahead of Eidul Fitr 2025. The plan bans taxis and rickshaws, including on-call services, from entering overcrowded market areas. Key restrictions include a ban on these vehicles at Teen Talwar, with commuters advised to use Clifton Bridge, Race Course, and Khaliq uz Zaman Road. Taxis and rickshaws are also prohibited on the route from Tariq Road to Ittehad Signal. Similar restrictions apply between Saddar, Fawara Chowk, GPO, Singer Chowk to Zaibunnisa Street, Jama Cloth to Eidgah Chowk, and Hyderi Market Road.
