Israeli Ambassador to the UAE, Yossi Shelley, attended a Ramadan Iftar hosted by Emirati Minister of State for Youth Affairs, Sultan Al-Neyadi, amid the ongoing crisis in Gaza. Shelley shared his experience on X, calling it his first Iftar in the UAE and praising the Emirati spirit of community, tolerance, and generosity. He also expressed admiration for Al-Neyadi’s achievements in space exploration. The minister, in his own post, highlighted the event’s atmosphere of peace and social cohesion, emphasizing the UAE’s commitment to instilling these values in future generations. Shelley officially assumed his role as Israel’s ambassador to the UAE in February.
