Two Chinese nationals were injured in Karachi on Tuesday after being shot by a security guard, according to police reports. The Sindh government described the incident as a “clash” at a local police station.
Kemari Senior Superintendent of Police, Faizan Ali, informed reporters at the scene, stating, “Two Chinese nationals have been injured as a result of a security guard’s firing.”
A statement from the Sindh home department confirmed that the altercation occurred between the foreigners and security guards at a police station in the Sindh Industrial Trading Estate (SITE) A area. Following the incident, Sindh Home Minister Ziaul Hassan Lanjar directed authorities to apprehend the security guard involved.
