PTI Lawyer Salman Safdar Visits Imran at Adiala Jail, Confirms Good Health

PTI lawyer Salman Safdar met former Prime Minister Imran Khan at Adiala Jail on Tuesday for nearly three hours, reporting that Khan appeared to be in good health. The meeting was allowed by the Supreme Court, which appointed Safdar as amicus curiae, or “friend of the court,” to assess Imran’s living conditions. Safdar told reporters that he would submit a detailed report to the court before sharing further information. The development follows an earlier request for an urgent meeting by PTI leader Latif Khosa, which was initially rejected by a two-member bench of the Supreme Court, prompting the court to issue a notice to the government and resume the hearing with directives for Safdar’s visit.
