PTI Chairman Barrister Gohar has confirmed that doctors recommended a medical procedure for former Prime Minister and PTI founder Imran Khan, warning that any delay could have seriously affected his eyesight. Speaking to the media outside Adiala Jail, Gohar said Imran Khan’s wife, Bushra Bibi, was allowed to meet her family members after three months and later conveyed updates about Imran Khan’s health. According to him, Bushra Bibi confirmed that Imran Khan was taken to PIMS Hospital for the advised procedure, after which his condition showed slight improvement. Gohar added that doctors had warned the treatment was necessary to avoid permanent eye damage and clarified that Imran Khan willingly agreed to the hospital visit. He also stressed that the meeting was strictly family-related and did not include any political discussions or matters linked to the events of February 8.
