Iran’s Pezeshkian Suspends Cooperation with IAEA

Iranian President Massoud Pezeshkian has announced the suspension of Tehran’s cooperation with the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA), following a bill passed by the Iranian parliament. Lawmakers approved the move in response to what they called a politically-motivated resolution against Iran. Under the new law, IAEA inspectors will be barred from entering the country unless the Supreme National Security Council ensures the safety of Iran’s nuclear sites. Iran is also considering banning IAEA chief Rafael Grossi from entering the country, accusing him of supporting Israeli-American actions against Tehran.
