696 individuals, both domestic and foreign, have been nominated for significant civil honors

On the occasion of Independence Day, a total of 696 individuals from both Pakistan and abroad, who have demonstrated exceptional contributions in diverse fields, have been selected as nominees for a range of esteemed civil honors, including the distinguished Presidential Medal of Excellence.

It is important to highlight that the recognition ceremony to commemorate their outstanding accomplishments within their respective domains is scheduled to take place on March 23, 2024.

Among the notable honorees are Saudi Prince Khalid bin Salman and Chinese Vice Prime Minister He Li Fung, both of whom are set to receive the prestigious Hilal Pakistan awards. Additionally, 26 individuals will be presented with the Hilal Imtiaz award, 18 with the Hilal Quaid-e-Azam award, 19 with the Sitara Shujaat award, 50 with the Sitara Imtiaz award, and 69 will be granted the Hussan Performance Awards.

Furthermore, several eminent personalities have been nominated for different accolades, including the late nuclear scientist Hafeez Qureshi, accomplished writer Iftikhar Arif, and accomplished hockey player Salahuddin Siddiqui.

An additional group of 299 healthcare workers, who made the ultimate sacrifice during the challenging times of the Corona epidemic, have also been included among the nominees for these distinguished civil honors.
