TikTok Removes 25.4 Million Videos in Pakistan from April to June 2025

TikTok removed over 25.4 million videos in Pakistan between April and June 2025 for violating its Community Guidelines, highlighting the platform’s strong commitment to user safety and responsible content moderation. Impressively, 99.7% of these videos were identified and removed before any user reports, with most taken down within 24 hours of posting through TikTok’s automated systems. Globally, the platform deleted nearly 190 million videos during the same period, reflecting its extensive efforts to curb harmful content. Misinformation was the top reason for removals, accounting for 45% of the total, including false news and misleading health information.
