The Saudi Crown Prince might visit Pakistan this month

Saudi Arabia’s Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman Al Saud is anticipated to embark on his inaugural visit to Pakistan in five years, expected to take place sometime this month.

During his anticipated visit, there are prospects for the signing of Memorandums of Understanding (MoUs) entailing a $5 billion investment, although the precise dates of his arrival are yet to be finalized.

This forthcoming visit will mark the third encounter between Prime Minister Shehbaz Sharif and the Saudi Crown Prince within a span of merely five weeks.

Presently, a distinguished Saudi trade delegation, led by deputy minister for Investment Ibrahim al-Mubarak, is currently in Pakistan. Their primary objective is to identify investment opportunities across diverse sectors and bolster connections with local entrepreneurs.

Pakistan officials are optimistic that the delegation’s visit could potentially result in investment commitments ranging from 10 to 15 billion US dollars. The delegation comprises representatives from approximately 35 companies operating across various economic domains.
