Petrol prices in Pakistan stay the same

The Pakistani government has declared that petrol prices will stay steady at Rs 281.34, while the cost of high-speed diesel (HSD) will be reduced by Rs 7 per liter for the upcoming two weeks.

A notification from the Finance Division indicates that this decision is geared towards alleviating financial burdens on the public during the interim period.

The adjusted prices, sanctioned by the caretaker prime minister, will be in effect from midnight on December 1 until December 15.

Furthermore, there will be a reduction in the prices of kerosene oil and light diesel oil by Rs 3.82 per liter and Rs 4.52 per liter, respectively.
