In a viral video, Gul Jan defended the killings and called for the release of those arrested, claiming their innocence. Police say her statement amounts to supporting a double murder and could impact the investigation. She was presented before an anti-terrorism court, which granted a two-day physical remand. Bano and Ihsan were allegedly killed on the orders of tribal leader Sherbaz Satakzai over an alleged illicit relationship.
