Mohammad Amir has received a visa for the Ireland tour

Mohammad Amir has successfully obtained a visa for the upcoming three-match T20I series against Ireland. The PCB’s logistics department is actively coordinating his flight to Dublin to ensure his timely arrival to join the team.

While his participation in the opening match remains uncertain, Amir is expected to feature in the second and third matches of the series.

Initially, there were concerns regarding Amir’s inclusion due to visa issues. Despite submitting his visa application along with the team’s, it was initially rejected by the Ireland Embassy. However, after objections were raised by PCB officials, including Chairman Mohsin Naqvi, his application was resubmitted and subsequently approved.

This development brings relief to both Amir and the PCB, underscoring the board’s commitment to facilitating seamless logistics for their players ahead of crucial tours and tournaments.
