Karachi police have registered a kidnapping case after a four-year-old girl, Maira, went missing from Hijrat Colony. The incident occurred on August 25 when she disappeared while playing outside her home on Street No. 32, Sector D-2. Despite efforts by her family and local residents, she could not be found, and her father alleged she was abducted by unknown suspects. An FIR was lodged under Section 364-A of the Pakistan Penal Code and transferred to the Anti-Violent Crime Cell (AVCC) for investigation. CCTV footage captured a man in a black helmet acting suspiciously in the area, while the girl’s sister reported witnessing the suspect taking Maira away before fleeing the scene.
