The International Cricket Council (ICC) has unveiled the schedule for the Champions Trophy 2025 Trophy Tour, starting November 16 in Islamabad. Legendary Pakistani pacer Shoaib Akhtar is accompanying the trophy during its journey across Pakistan before it heads on an international tour.
Pakistan Leg Highlights
The trophy’s journey in Pakistan kicks off with visits to iconic landmarks in Islamabad, including Daman-e-Koh, Faisal Mosque, and Pakistan Monument. It will then travel to various cities and towns:
- November 17: Taxila and Khanpur
- November 18: Abbottabad
- November 19: Murree
- November 20: Nathia Gali
- November 22-25: Karachi
The Pakistan leg concludes in Karachi, after which the trophy begins its international journey.
International Tour Itinerary
From November 26, the Champions Trophy 2025 trophy will visit all participating nations:
- November 26-28: Afghanistan
- December 10-13: Bangladesh
- December 15-22: South Africa
- December 25-January 5: Australia
- January 6-11: New Zealand
- January 12-14: England
- January 15-26: India
The tour ends in India, the final destination, before the trophy returns to Pakistan for the tournament’s start on January 27, 2025.
