Sindh Governor Kamran Khan Tessori has claimed that MQM founder Altaf Hussain is set to return to Karachi’s political scene, a day after the self-exiled leader announced his party’s disbandment. Speaking at an Independence Day event, Tessori told the crowd that “Bhai” would make a comeback to “fix Karachi” and urged political workers to join MQM-Pakistan. He criticized rival parties for neglecting the city’s development despite seeking its votes. Altaf Hussain, once a dominant political force in Karachi, has been in poor health in recent years.
