Gold prices in Pakistan rose sharply by Rs 2,800 per tola on Wednesday, reaching Rs 309,300, according to the All Pakistan Gems and Jewellers Association. The price of 10 grams also increased by Rs 2,400, bringing it to Rs 265,174. Internationally, gold prices surged by $27 per ounce, reaching $2,942. The increase is driven by global market fluctuations and local economic conditions.
