Four eclipses expected in 2025

The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) has announced that there will be four eclipses in 2025, including two lunar and two solar eclipses.

However, Pakistan will only be able to see one of these events.

The first event will be a total lunar eclipse, also known as a “Blood Moon,” on March 14. Unfortunately, it won’t be visible in Pakistan but can be seen in regions like Europe, Australia, Africa, North and South America, and the Pacific and Atlantic Oceans.

On March 29, 2025, a partial solar eclipse will occur, but like the lunar eclipse, it won’t be visible in Pakistan. This eclipse will be visible in parts of Europe, Asia, North and West Africa, and most of North America.
