Five Pakistani Migrants Killed in Libya Boat Tragedy After Vessel Capsizes

Five young men from Pakistan — Mazhar Hussain, Atif, Haroon, Hamza, and Jafar — lost their lives in a tragic boat accident near Libya while attempting to reach Europe in search of better job opportunities. According to their families, they had each paid between Rs. 4.5 million and Rs. 5 million to travel agents and planned to travel through Saudi Arabia and Libya before reaching Italy, a route often used despite its risks. The vessel reportedly capsized due to rough sea conditions, ending their journey in tragedy and leaving their families in deep grief. One companion, Imran Sher, survived the incident after boarding another boat and is reported to have safely reached Italy.
