Dubai authorities have announced the opening of selected beaches for night swimming

Dubai Municipality has announced the introduction of night-time swimming at specific beaches during the Arabian Travel Market in Dubai. According to Bader Anwahi, the CEO of the Public Facilities Agency at Dubai Municipality, tourists visiting the city miss out on the beach experience since swimming is not allowed after sunset. To address this issue, new lighting systems have been installed at select beaches in Umm Suqeim and Jumeirah, along with LED screens that provide directions and instructions. Rescue personnel and lifeguards will also be present to ensure visitors’ safety and security.
