Punjab Chief Minister Maryam Nawaz has ordered the immediate removal of the Lodhran Deputy Commissioner after a child tragically fell into an uncovered manhole. Deeply saddened by the incident, she held the official responsible for failing to ensure public safety. The chief minister offered condolences to the grieving family and said no parent should suffer such a loss due to government negligence. She stressed that officials’ carelessness, especially when it endangers lives, will not be tolerated.
