National Cyber Security Body Reports Massive Data Breach Exposing Over 180 Million Users’ Passwords

The National Cyber Emergency Response Team (PKCERT) has warned that login credentials and passwords of over 180 million internet users in Pakistan were stolen in a major global data breach. The breach involved an unencrypted file containing 184 million account details from popular services like Google, Microsoft, Apple, Facebook, Instagram, and Snapchat, as well as government, banking, and healthcare platforms worldwide. PKCERT said the data was collected using infostealer malware and stored without any encryption, putting users at serious risk. People are urged to take immediate steps to protect their accounts.
