Modi Fires Lt Gen Kumar for Refusing Orders to Attack Pakistan

Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi reportedly removed Lieutenant General MV Suchindra Kumar from his post after he allegedly refused to initiate a military offensive against Pakistan following the Pahalgam incident. Kumar, who was serving as the Northern Commander, was said to have avoided military action after what is being described by some as a false flag operation. However, India’s Press Information Bureau (PIB) dismissed these claims, stating that the rumors were spread by pro-Pakistan social media accounts. According to the PIB, Lt General Kumar was not removed due to any internal dispute but was retiring as scheduled on April 30, and his replacement was part of a routine transition.
