Karachi has been ranked the most polluted city in the world, according to the Air Quality Index (AQI), with hazardous air quality and particulate matter (PM) levels reaching 179. Despite clear skies, experts warn that prolonged exposure could lead to serious respiratory issues. The Pakistan Meteorological Department (PMD) reported a maximum temperature of 32°C and a minimum of 20.4°C, with light north winds and 34% humidity. Health experts advise residents, especially children and the elderly, to minimize outdoor activities and take precautions to reduce exposure to polluted air.
